Stones raw material preparation and characterization.
Tasks:
- Sample preparation:
Sample preparation by collecting, after the end of the olive oil extraction process, OS by-products from BOUKHRIS oil mill, a local olive oil manufacturer from the region of Sfax located in Southern Est of Tunisia. They will be cleaned, washed out, air-dried and finally ground in the form of powder.

Characterization of OS powder through the elemental, metal, moisture content and chemical analyses to identify the major and minor compounds, particularly lipid, polyphenols, protein and carbohydrate contents.
